Fourth Orléans Tattoo Show February 27 to March 1, 2026 Explores Origins
CO’Met hosted the fourth Orléans Tattoo Show with organisers citing 250 tattoo artists, daily concerts and food trucks as the convention explored “the origins of the tattoo.”

Organisers billed the fourth Orléans Tattoo Show as a plunge into “the origins of the tattoo,” bringing what event copy described as 250 tattoo artists to CO’Met at 1 Rue du Président Robert Schuman in Orléans over a three-day weekend. The convention ran from February 27 to March 1, 2026, and promoted daily concerts, on-site food trucks, and a lineup meant to include national, international and rising artists across styles.
The weekend schedule opened Friday at 12:30 PM and closed at 10:30 PM, resumed Saturday from 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM and finished Sunday from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Single-day tickets were listed at €15, three-day passes at €35, with a reduced €12 rate available on proof for disabled attendees, one accompanying disabled person, 12–18 year olds, students and job seekers; children under 12 were admitted free. Event copy noted that entry “gives you free access to the entire convention, including the concerts!”
Programming sheets and promotional posts emphasised live elements beyond tattooing: the Orleans site listed “Shows et Animations” and a jury section, while World Tattoo Events highlighted “a concert every day” and “Food trucks will also be on site to satisfy your appetites!” Organisers were explicit about bookings: “Please note: you will need to contact your tattoo artist directly; we do not manage appointment bookings.” The listings also encouraged walk-in inspiration: “You can also go there in person and let yourself be seduced by flashes of inspiration in the moment!”
Artist selection and event values were foregrounded in the official copy. The Orleans page described the convention as “International Orléans Tattoo Show 2026, c’est 250 artistes tatoueurs venus des quatre coins de France et du monde … Tous les styles de tattoo sont représentés,” and published a statement in French about wanting a convivial, accessible and environmentally respectful convention that promotes self-acceptance and respect for every person; organisers said artists “seront sélectionnés avec soin dans cet état d’esprit.” Applications were promoted vigorously: one organiser post read, “Applications are open for tattoo artists, creators, and merchants, 250 tattoo spots and 30 merchants. There won’t be room for everyone so gogogogo!!! You can find the forms in the bio of the Instagram page and on the website.”

Some promotional material contained conflicting counts: while multiple official and regional listings repeat the 250 figure for tattoo artists, an iNKPPL promotional header also appears as “★ 400 TATTOO ARTISTS ★,” and vendor numbers vary between “around twenty vendors/creators” and “30 merchants” across listings. The discrepancy between 250 and 400 tattoo artists and between about twenty and 30 merchants remains in the public promotional record for the fourth edition.
The fourth Orléans Tattoo Show closed its weekend program at CO’Met after three days of concerts, merchant stalls and on-site tattooing that organisers presented as a curated exploration of origin narratives in tattooing, with selection criteria and accessibility measures written into the event’s stated values.
