Laramie Main Street Alliance to Host 5th Annual Flavor Festival April 14-18
Laramie Main Street and UW Global announced the 5th Annual Laramie International Flavor Festival for April 14-18 in downtown Laramie, the organization said after a Feb. 11, 2026 marketplace posting.

Laramie Main Street Alliance and UW Global announced that the 5th Annual Laramie International Flavor Festival will run April 14-18 in downtown Laramie, an Instagram post from the two partners states; a Marketplace listing for Laramie Main Street Alliance published Feb. 11, 2026 promotes the 5th Annual Laramie International and places the announcement in an early 2026 promotional context. The Instagram caption did not specify a year, and the Marketplace publication date suggests the April window refers to April 2026.
Organizer Laramie Main Street Alliance will stage the multi-day Flavor Festival in partnership with UW Global and the University of Wyoming International Students and Scholars, outreach materials indicate. Dr. Isadora A. Helfgott, VP for UW Global Engagement, said, “What could be more exciting than discovering new foods and, along with them, new cultures and maybe even some new neighbors? The Laramie International Flavor Festival brings so many opportunities for discovery and for making new connections across cultures and we’re thrilled to partner with the Laramie Main Street Alliance to highlight the rich diversity of our community.”
Program copy and story prompts from Laramie Main Street show the festival will center international foods and cultural storytelling; LMSA solicited short submissions asking respondents to describe “the culinary dish or flavors that evoke the strongest memories of your cultural heritage or home country.” Materials identify Paul Taylor as a storyteller in Laramie, WY, in the collection of story examples provided to the organization.
Instagram tags place the event “in @downtownlaramie,” while LMSA’s historical event footprint includes Depot Park and the parking lot north of Depot Park on South 1st St. Past LMSA events offer a planning template: a 2021 LMSA Farmers Market used the Depot Park parking lot with markets on Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m., and LMSA’s Brewfest historically has been held at Depot Park. LMSA’s 2021 Brewfest was described as the 15th Laramie Brewfest, held July 10, with over 2,000 participants, more than 40 brewers providing samples, local food trucks, and live music acts including Chanman Roots Band and 10 Cent Stranger; proceeds were used to keep LMSA services free to downtown businesses and to fund downtown improvement projects, beautification, and public art.

Laramie Main Street Alliance identifies itself as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating as part of the State of Wyoming’s Wyoming Main Street program under the Wyoming Business Council, guided by the National Main Street Program’s four-point approach; LMSA also notes a Local Initiatives Support Corporation partnership. The Marketplace ad lists a contact phone at 307-760-3355 and an office at 115 E Ivinson Ave, Laramie, WY 82070; local business questions about Cowboy Cash were directed in earlier LMSA materials to downtownlaramie@gmail.com and to LMSA’s online gifts page.
Readers seeking vendor, schedule, permit, or ticketing details should note LMSA’s Instagram and Marketplace posts as the current public notices; organizers have historically used Depot Park and downtown streets for large events and are partnering with UW Global and UW international students for this fifth edition.
