Michele Fiore Campaigns in Pahrump for Justice of the Peace Amid Suspension
Michele Fiore held a campaign kickoff at Tower Pizza in Pahrump despite wind and rain as she runs for re-election while suspended from the bench.

Michele Fiore held a campaign kickoff at Tower Pizza in Pahrump on Feb. 16, 2026, as she seeks re-election to the Pahrump Justice of the Peace Department B seat while suspended from the bench. KPVM posted video of the event and described it as “another night of pizza and politics,” noting Fiore spoke to supporters despite wind and rain.
Local filings show Fiore has formally entered the race. The Nevada Secretary of State listing cited by KSNV shows she filed on Jan. 6 to run for Department B in Pahrump, inside the filing window that Review-Journal noted ends Jan. 16. Fiore posted a social media announcement quoted by KTNV saying she was “excited to be running for re-election and deeply motivated by the continued support of the people I serve. I am running because I believe in courage over convenience, principle over politics, and the right of the people, not institutions to choose their leaders.”
Fiore’s campaign event came amid ongoing federal and state-level proceedings. KTNV and Review-Journal reported that a federal jury found Fiore guilty of federal fraud charges in 2024; KTNV specified the verdict as six counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Wikipedia’s entry for Michele Ann Fiore states she was convicted on seven counts in 2024 and that prosecutors said the scheme involved money solicited for a memorial for fallen Las Vegas police officers. Multiple outlets say Fiore has maintained her innocence throughout the court proceedings.
President Donald Trump issued Fiore a full pardon before she was sentenced, with sources differing on timing. KTNV reported the pardon came “in April,” KSNV described it as coming “last year,” and Wikipedia states the pardon was granted in 2025. All sources identify a presidential pardon was issued by Donald Trump.
Disciplinary action by the Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline has affected Fiore’s status as a judge. Review-Journal and PVTIMES report the commission suspended Fiore with pay in May, about seven months after the federal jury verdict. KTNV and Review-Journal say the commission later modified the suspension and removed her annual judicial salary, about $90,000. KTNV reported the commission acted after receiving additional complaints it was investigating. KSNV quoted the commission as declining to lift the suspension and writing that Trump’s pardon did not preclude it “from considering a judge's ongoing conduct.”
Fiore has pursued court relief. Review-Journal reported she asked the Nevada Supreme Court to expedite her appeal to reverse the suspension in early December. Sources differ on whether the state high court issued a stay: KTNV reported the Nevada Supreme Court “stayed proceedings on July 2,” while KSNV said the court granted expedited review but denied a request to issue a stay for the suspension.
Fiore’s public record includes prior political offices and recent judicial service. Wikipedia lists her full name as Michele Ann Fiore, born July 29, 1970, and shows she assumed the Pahrump Justice of the Peace Department B office on Dec. 20, 2022. Her prior roles in the public record include Nevada Assembly member from the 4th district, Las Vegas City Council member for Ward 6, and Republican National Committeewoman from Nevada. Review-Journal published a photo caption noting Fiore “holds morning court in the Pahrump Justice Court in July 2024,” underscoring her recent role on the bench even as disciplinary proceedings continue.
The Tower Pizza event brought Fiore’s local supporters together in Pahrump while a mix of federal convictions, a presidential pardon, and state disciplinary actions move through appeals and commission review. Fiore’s campaign messaging in local filings and at the event emphasizes resilience and voter choice, with Review-Journal quoting her campaign language that “This campaign is about resilience, transparency, and trusting voters, not gatekeepers to decide our future. Progress has never come from silence or submission.”
