Pampers Launches AMORE, Its Most Premium and Absorbent Diaper Yet
Pampers AMORE, the brand's first new diaper line since 2018, hit major retailers March 15 with a five-layer protection system and Skin Health Alliance accreditation.
Pampers hit shelves March 15 with AMORE, its most premium and absorbent diaper to date and the brand's first entirely new line for newborns and toddlers since the 2018 launch of Pampers Pure. The Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble brand announced the product via a Business Wire press release on March 16, positioning AMORE as a direct evolution of the Pure platform, built for parents seeking elevated performance and cleaner ingredient credentials.
"This for us is our best diaper yet," said Vanessa Galloza, senior brand director at Procter & Gamble. "Amore is the most absorbent Pampers that we have." Galloza said the line was developed in response to caregiver and parent feedback specifically requesting better leak protection and improved ingredient transparency. A drier environment, she noted, helps maintain a healthy skin pH and lowers the risk of inflammation and diaper rash.
The absorbency claims are backed by a five-layer protection system: a KeepDry liner, acquisition layer, absorbent core layer, fluffy pulp fibers, and a water-resistant backsheet. That stack is designed to quickly capture and lock away wetness, with Pampers citing all-around blowout and leak protection across the line. The diaper also carries accreditation from the Skin Health Alliance, a London-based independent nonprofit, and was third-party lab tested for more than 1,000 harmful chemicals. It is free of fragrance, parabens, elemental chlorine, and latex, and is clinically proven hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested.
Adam Riegle, Vice President of Brand for North America Baby Care at Pampers, framed the product around ingredient trust: "With Pampers AMORE, we designed a diaper that delivers protection without compromise, combining outstanding performance with thoughtfully selected ingredients so parents can feel confident they are giving their baby the very best."
Dr. Christopher B. Peltier, MD FAAP, speaking on behalf of Pampers, pointed directly to moisture as the primary culprit in infant skin irritation. "One of the biggest contributors to skin irritation is prolonged contact with moisture and waste," he said. "A diaper that pulls wetness away quickly and keeps it locked can help reduce that exposure."
AMORE is available in sizes newborn through 7, covering children up to 50 pounds, in a standard taped diaper design. The outer layer features delicate, elevated prints described as giving the product a modern, premium aesthetic. The soft-as-cashmere texture is a detail Pampers repeated across all its launch materials. Pricing and specific retail partners were not disclosed in the launch announcement, but the product is available nationwide at major retailers.
