Registration Opens for Homebrew Con 2026 in Asheville June 19-20
Registration is open for Homebrew Con 2026 in Asheville, June 19-20, with NHC final judging June 17-18 and the NHC Awards Ceremony + Knock-Out Party on June 20 at The Renaissance.

Registration is open for Homebrew Con 2026, the American Homebrewers Association announced, with the conference set for June 19-20 in Asheville and all official events staged at Harrah’s Cherokee Center in downtown Asheville. The AHA paired the conference with National Homebrew Competition Final Round judging, listed in the announcement for June 17-18, and the NHC Awards Ceremony plus the Knock-Out Party on June 20 at The Renaissance. Registration is $334.95 per person, and the AHA is clear: you must be an active AHA member to attend.
What comes with that registration is a dense, two-day program the AHA and the community forum describe as "two jam-packed days of pure homebrew magic." The official and forum listings include Brewers Talks, Ignite Talks, a Homebrew Expo billed as featuring top suppliers and educators, Homebrew Hospitality, and the now-legendary Club Night. The AHA copy promises that "All official Homebrew Con events take place at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center in downtown Asheville, with the NHC Awards Ceremony and Knock-Out Party hosted at The Renaissance on June 20."
This edition is being positioned as a comeback and a reboot. AHA messaging emphasizes the association's recent organizational changes: "After a pause since 2023 and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes rebuilding as your newly independent American Homebrewers Association, we are beyond ready to raise a pint with you again." The AHA frames Homebrew Con as "the world’s longest running and largest homebrew gathering now 46 years strong" and sold the weekend under taglines including "Smaller Event. Bigger Energy. Limited Tickets."
There are a few items to watch closely on the calendar. MemberClicks, which hosts the AHA event listing, shows the conference time block as Fri June 19, 2026, 8:00 AM to Sat June 20, 2026, 5:00 PM CST, while the AHA announcement gives the conference dates without specific times and lists NHC Final Round judging as June 17-18. MemberClicks’ quick links show a single-day NHC Final Round Judging entry for June 17 in one place and a note that the Con is "Preceded by NHC Final Round Judging on June 18" in another. An Instagram post tied to the NHC read "NATIONAL HOMEBREW NHC 2026 REGISTRATION OPEN NOW THROUGH FEBRUARY 25 ENTER TODAY!" Readers should note those discrepancies when planning travel and judging attendance; the AHA and MemberClicks entries include the association’s Austin office address at 3305 Steck Ave., Ste. 200, Austin, TX 78757.

Tickets are intentionally limited. The AHA copy warns, "We’re intentionally keeping it tight, focused, and community-driven. That also means tickets are limited—and we fully expect this to sell out. Act NOW." The forum reinforces that urgency with "We predict a sell-out! Please register EARLY - your participation helps support the growth of an even larger Homebrew Con in 2027." The AHA also advises booking hotel rooms via the Homebrew Con website and confirms that this two-day, membership-only event is built around clubs and volunteer leadership.
If you measure the return of Homebrew Con by atmosphere rather than headcount, this one is being sold as a tightly curated weekend in one of America’s most beer-friendly cities. As the AHA puts it, "Homebrew Con 2026 isn’t just another conference. It’s a celebration of the AHA’s new chapter, powered by volunteers, fueled by sponsors, and built around you—the homebrewers and homebrew clubs who keep this hobby thriving.
