Two Arrested in Warwick After Armed Robbery on Maple Avenue
An 18-year-old from Sparrow Bush and a 19-year-old from Cuddebackville face robbery charges after a Warwick man was threatened with a gun and knife on Maple Avenue.

A 26-year-old Warwick man was assaulted and threatened at gunpoint and knifepoint just before 1:30 a.m. Monday on Maple Avenue near Route 94 in the Village of Warwick, touching off a cross-county investigation that ended with two arrests and a warning from police that more are coming.
Ryan Cassidy, 18, of Sparrow Bush, and Kiana Harrison, 19, of Cuddebackville, were arrested after detectives from the Town of Warwick Police Department and the City of Port Jervis Police Department conducted a joint investigation and executed a search warrant at a residence on Barcelow Street in Port Jervis. The Town of Warwick Police Department announced the arrests on Tuesday, March 10.
The victim told officers that the suspects displayed both a handgun and a knife during the encounter. Following that initial interview, Warwick detectives identified several suspects they believed were connected to Port Jervis, leading to the joint operation across the county line.

Both Cassidy and Harrison were charged with first- and second-degree robbery, three counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, and fourth-degree criminal facilitation. They were arraigned in Middletown City Court. Harrison was released on her own recognizance. Cassidy was remanded to the Orange County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing and more arrests are expected.
