The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame has set the field for the 2026 Henry Community Health Hall of Fame Classic, a two-day showcase at the New Castle Fieldhouse that carries both its richest men's milestone and one of the more compelling brother storylines Indiana high school basketball has produced in years.

The prestigious event will be held for the 43rd time for girls and the 50th edition for the boys. Two great days of basketball are scheduled for Monday, December 21 and Tuesday, December 22 at the New Castle Fieldhouse.

The girls' bracket opens Monday at 11 a.m. with Pendleton Heights against McCutcheon, followed by Franklin Central against Northridge, with a consolation game at 6 p.m. and the championship to follow. Pendleton Heights finished the 2025-26 season at 22-4 before a regional loss to state champion Center Grove. The Arabians are led by 6'3" junior Adah Hupfer, who averaged 20.5 points and 13 rebounds per game. It will be Pendleton Heights' first appearance in the Hall of Fame Classic.

McCutcheon finished 23-6 in 2025-26, falling to 4A State Runner-up Norwell in the semi-state. The Mavericks return 6'1" junior Lillie Graves, who averages 17.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game, alongside 5'7" junior Keara Lipscomb-Allen at 14.6 points per game. It will be McCutcheon's second trip to New Castle, the first since 1991.

Northridge, coming off a 20-8 season and a regional championship, is led by 5'10" junior Lily Scholl at 18.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. This will be Northridge's first Hall of Fame Classic appearance.

The boys bracket takes the floor Tuesday. Oak Hill opens against Terre Haute North at 11 a.m., followed by Homestead and New Albany, with the consolation game at 6 p.m. and the championship to follow.

Oak Hill arrives at New Castle as one of the state's buzziest programs entering 2026-27. The Golden Eagles finished 25-2, falling in the Class 2A semistate to Fort Wayne Luers two wins short of the state finals. Their 21-1 regular-season mark was the best in school history. The headliners are brothers Jace and Will Tonagel. Jace, a 5'10" junior, averaged 16.0 points and 6.0 assists per game; Will, a 6'0" freshman, posted 14.3 points and 3.6 assists. Juniors Kevaunte Simmons (6'2", 7.9 ppg) and Jayden Younce (6'1", 6.0 ppg) round out the core. Head coach Kevin Renbarger, who owns a 327-165 record in 21 seasons, will return the group intact. Oak Hill played in the 2017 Hall of Fame Classic in its only previous appearance.

Terre Haute North finished 24-4 with a Class 4A regional title before losing 65-57 to New Albany in the semistate semifinal at New Castle, ending a 22-game winning streak. New Albany's Jason Jones, 59-18 in three seasons, brings back 6'5" sophomore Noah Washington, who averaged 22.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. It will be New Albany's fifth appearance in the Classic, having previously attended in 1980, 2001, 2007 and 2016.

Across its history, the girls' tournament has included 21 teams that went on to win a state championship that same season, while on the boys' side, 19 participating teams have captured their state title in the year they appeared. Tickets will be available through participating schools and the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame beginning in early November 2026.
