Bradburn Named Indiana Boys All-Stars Assistant After Mt. Vernon Title Run
Mt. Vernon's Joe Bradburn, who guided the Marauders to a 52-50 Class 4A title win, was named an Indiana Boys All-Stars assistant coach.

Three days after the confetti settled on Mt. Vernon's first IHSAA Class 4A state championship, Joe Bradburn added another line to his coaching resume: assistant coach for the 2026 Indiana Boys' All-Stars.
The appointment, announced Tuesday as part of the All-Stars coaching staff selections for this summer's series, recognizes Bradburn's work guiding the Marauders to a 52-50 victory over Crown Point in the Class 4A final and a school-record 28-3 season. It was the program's first state title, and it positioned Bradburn as one of the most credible names in Indiana prep basketball heading into the offseason.
In the All-Stars role, Bradburn will work alongside the series' head coach and other assistants to install offensive and defensive systems for the state's top rising seniors before June inter-state exhibitions. The assignment compresses a full season's worth of player development into a short window, placing Bradburn in direct contact with elite prospects from across Indiana, not just those in Mt. Vernon's immediate recruiting footprint.
That access carries real weight for the Marauders' program. College scouts who descend on the All-Stars games will now see Bradburn on the bench in an official capacity, and players from neighboring programs who work alongside him through the summer series gain firsthand exposure to the scheme and development approach he used to build a state championship team. For families evaluating where to play high school basketball in Indiana, that kind of visibility matters.
The 28-3 mark Mt. Vernon posted this season shattered the program's previous win record, and the state title gave Bradburn's name recognition well beyond Posey County. All-Stars organizers clearly viewed that combination of results and profile as the right fit for a staff charged with representing Indiana against out-of-state competition.
The June games now give Bradburn's players, and any prospects watching, one more reason to pay attention to what he is building at Mt. Vernon.
