Indiana Boys Basketball Regional Schedule Set for March 14 Statewide Slate

Regionals arrive Saturday across Indiana as the IHSAA boys basketball tournament reaches its third round, with more than two dozen matchups scheduled March 14 spanning every corner of the state and all four classes.

The IHSAA calendar places regionals on March 14 as the midpoint of a postseason that opened with sectionals March 3-4 and 6-7 and continues with semi-states March 21 before the state finals close out the season March 28. Saturday's winners advance to those semi-state rounds, one step from Indianapolis.

The day's schedule runs across three tip-off windows. Early games begin at 1:00 PM EST, including Southwood at Monroe Central, Princeton at Benjamin Bosse, New Haven at West Lafayette, Hauser at South Decatur, Forest Park at Austin, and North Vermillion at Rossville. The 4:00 PM EST wave is the heaviest block of the day, featuring Oak Hill at Benton Central, Centerville at Parke Heritage, Hanover Central at Columbia City, Lapel at Blackford, Castle at New Albany, Greenwood Christian Academy at Liberty Christian, Marquette Catholic at Triton, Homestead at Harrison, Linton-Stockton at Paoli, Mishawaka Marian at East Chicago Central, Pike at Mt. Vernon, and Batesville at Silver Creek. Evening tip-offs at 7:00 PM EST include Cathedral at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, South Bend St. Joseph at Northridge, Triton Central at Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, Crown Point at Chesterton, and Decatur Central at Lawrence Central.

The 1A bracket sends Forest Park to Austin and Oak Hill to Benton Central, while the 2A bracket carries its own statewide spread, from the northwest corner matchup of Crown Point at Chesterton to the southern Indiana game of Princeton at Benjamin Bosse in Evansville.

MaxPreps, which the IHSAA lists as a resource on its official boys basketball page, updated its Indiana hub as recently as March 11-13 and is preparing live score feeds and stat-tracking for Saturday's full slate.
