Indiana’s next two classes already have a hierarchy, and the Futures Game roster release makes it plain. The fourth annual boys event, part of Indiana All-Star week, will bring 12 North players and 12 South players to New Palestine High School on June 1, with the girls game at 6 p.m. EDT and the boys following around 8 p.m.

The North side starts with a name that has already become statewide shorthand for production: Blackford sophomore Mari Leggett. He is back after earning MVP honors in 2025, when he put up 24 points, nine rebounds, two assists and three steals in the North’s 123-113 win. The returning core also includes Merrillville’s Charles Hardiman, who scored 18 points last year, and Penn sophomore Caleb Coolman, who added six. From there, the roster leans into the class that is beginning to take over Indiana gyms: Chesterton’s Bradly Basila, Anderson’s Don Bowling III, New Palestine’s Will Davison, Bowman Academy’s Quentavious Fly, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian’s Bryce LaCross, Norwell’s Josh McBride, Kokomo’s D.J. Nash, Oak Hill freshman Will Tonagel and West Lafayette’s Jaece Vogt.

The South may have the most immediate spotlight because New Albany put two players on the list again. Sophomore Noah Washington and freshman Karson Stoudemire both return from last year’s game, when Washington scored seven points and the South came up short in the 123-113 finish. The rest of the roster reads like a map of the state’s next wave: Crawford County sophomore Braxton Bowman, Evansville Mater Dei sophomore Cole Breeden, Evansville Harrison freshman Romyiez Calvin, Hamilton Southeastern sophomore Varschon Clark, Indianapolis Scecina sophomore Jaylin Foster, Lawrence North sophomore Chandon Giblert, Pike sophomore Landon Lampley, Austin freshman Micah Mohler and Princeton sophomore Quintyn Voltz.

The coaching matchup adds another layer of credibility to a game built to identify the next statewide names before they become unavoidable. Northridge’s Scott Radeker, the 2026 IBCA District 1 Coach of the Year, will lead the North with Westview’s Chandler Prible. Plainfield’s Andy Weaver, the 2026 IBCA District 2 Coach of the Year, will guide the South with Hauser’s Trent Moorhead. Radeker is 151-53 in eight seasons at Northridge, while Weaver went 196-137 in 14 seasons at Plainfield.

The rosters are a reminder that Indiana basketball still rewards skill, production and early responsibility. Leggett is already a returner with an MVP line on his résumé, Washington and Stoudemire have statewide visibility out of New Albany, and the freshmen named here are not being asked to wait their turn.
