Terre Haute North Claims Back-to-Back Regionals, Tops Columbus North 62-54
Terre Haute North made back-to-back regional championships a program first with a 62-54 comeback win over Columbus North at the Greencastle regional on March 14.

Terre Haute North closed out the Greencastle regional with a 62-54 comeback win over Columbus North on Saturday, March 14, securing back-to-back regional championships in what the program has never accomplished before.
The Patriots trailed at some point before rallying to seal the eight-point final margin, continuing a postseason pattern that has defined their run. One week earlier in Martinsville, Terre Haute North had needed a similar rally to dispatch Bloomington South 44-39 and claim a second consecutive sectional title. That sectional win also pushed the Patriots' winning streak to 21 games, a school record.
Back-to-back sectionals were already territory Terre Haute North had claimed. Back-to-back regionals was something else entirely for this program, and Saturday night in Greencastle marked the first time the Patriots have held consecutive regional titles.

The comeback motif has appeared in both postseason wins. Against Bloomington South in the sectional, Terre Haute North rallied to a five-point victory. Against Columbus North in the regional final, the Patriots again found themselves in a position to dig out before closing out a 62-54 result. With the regional title secured, Terre Haute North advances deeper into the state tournament, carrying a win streak and a piece of program history along with them.
