adidas Singapore Launches Dedicated Pickleball Court Collection for Regional Players
adidas Singapore's new Court collection puts Metalbone paddles and CourtJam shoes on regional shelves for the first time, ending the costly import cycle for Southeast Asian players.

For the first time, Singapore pickleball players can walk into an adidas storefront and purchase a complete paddle-to-apparel kit without sourcing a single piece of gear from overseas. The global sporting brand launched its dedicated Court collection in Singapore on April 1, establishing the most comprehensive major-brand pickleball retail presence in Southeast Asia.
The collection spans three product categories built around the demands of court play in the region. On paddles, adidas introduced models across the Metalbone and RX families, including the Metalbone LP and RX Carbon CTRL, calibrated for control-oriented play and dinking precision. The CourtFlash court shoe and the CourtJam Control, a tennis-derived model repurposed for pickleball, anchor the footwear side, each engineered for the lateral stability and non-marking rubber grip demands of indoor court surfaces. Court polos, skirts and performance shorts built with Climacool ventilation technology and recycled materials round out the apparel segment.
Multiple price tiers across SKUs on adidas Singapore's online store signal that the launch is retail-ready and intended for immediate purchase, not a limited professional demo program. That distinction matters in a market where players have historically paid significant import premiums to access paddles and apparel from brands unavailable locally.
The commercial entry sharpens competition for Paddletek, Franklin, Facolos and other established pickleball brands already operating across the region. Local coaches and club owners noted that a recognizable brand on the shelf accelerates player adoption, since sizing consistency and warranty coverage reduce the hesitation that often stalls gear purchases. Retail partners and court operators in Singapore were expected to begin demo and rental programs at public and private hubs in the weeks following the launch.

The longer-term implications stretch beyond retail shelves. When major gear brands commit to a market at this scale, they typically bring courtside branding, apparel deals for regional athletes and larger sponsorship pools accessible to local tournaments. The Singapore Pickleball Association is a natural partnership target as adidas moves to activate through events and club collaborations.
Singapore is clearly the regional beachhead, and adidas is treating it as a growth market rather than an experiment.
