Arise Pickleball Hosts EPIC World Championship Thailand Qualifiers; Registration Open
Arise Pickleball opened registration for Thailand's EPIC World Championship qualifiers, offering DUPR-rated divisions, prize money, and paths to the EPIC finals in Singapore.

Arise Pickleball has launched the official Thailand qualifier rounds for the EPIC World Pickleball Championship, opening registration and laying out DUPR-rated divisions and prize incentives that aim to funnel Thai talent to the EPIC finals at Kallang Tennis Hub, Singapore, 30 April - 3 May 2026. The qualifiers promise both competitive opportunity and tangible player benefits as the sport accelerates across the region.
Organizers detail two specific qualifier windows by skill band: a DUPR 3.7-4.3 division scheduled for 21-22 February 2026 at PLAY @ Social Club in Chonburi Province, and a DUPR 3.0-3.69 division set for 28 February - 1 March 2026 at Pickleball Warehouse, Chokchai Rangsit. Matches are scheduled to begin daily at 9:00 a.m. Entry costs are 2,000 baht per person per event. Championship teams in each category - Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles - will receive 8,000 baht; runners-up 4,000 baht; and third place 2,000 baht, and advancing teams gain the right to compete at the EPIC World Pickleball Championship final in Singapore.
Organizers’ press materials emphasize pathways to the global stage, stating that “Teams that finish 1–3 of each division will receive the right to have entry fees covered for the EPIC World Pickleball Championship.” Promotional outreach includes an Instagram call-to-action: “REGISTER FOR THE QUALIFIER ROUNDS IN THAILAND! @epicworldchampionship.” Participants should note the press release also frames the qualifiers as taking place “across three weekends in February 2026,” while the operational calendar provided lists two dated windows; the two-window schedule provides the most specific venue and DUPR assignments available.

From a competition and development perspective, the DUPR-based stratification signals a deliberate push toward merit-based progression. By matching players within DUPR bands, organizers reduce mismatches and create clearer competitive ladders for emerging Thai athletes. The modest cash prizes - and the potential coverage of EPIC entry fees for top finishers - balance incentive with accessibility, lowering financial barriers for teams aiming for international exposure.
On the industry side, this series highlights pickleball’s growing commercial footprint in Thailand. The inclusion of an EPIC Athletes Gift Bag valued at over 250 USD, collector’s edition souvenirs, and exclusive player events demonstrates event-level branding that can attract sponsors and deepen fan engagement. Culturally, the three-category format - with mixed doubles alongside men’s and women’s events - reinforces pickleball’s inclusive, social-competition identity that has driven grassroots momentum across Asia.
