Hong Kong Mall to Host First Large-Scale Pickleball Tournament This Easter
D·PARK in Tsuen Wan will host 1,500+ players across 800+ matches from April 3-12, making it Hong Kong's first large-scale pickleball tournament inside a shopping mall.

The CCG Pickleball Challenge 2026 will turn the L1 Atrium and Area C of D·PARK in Tsuen Wan into a competitive pickleball venue for ten consecutive days this Easter, running April 3 through April 12 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Billed as Hong Kong's first large-scale pickleball tournament staged inside a shopping mall, the event is expected to draw more than 1,500 players across upwards of 800 matches.
A celebrity invitational match and opening ceremony will kick off proceedings on April 2, the day before competitive play begins. The main draw spans men's doubles, women's singles and women's doubles, with categories open to players from under-8 through to age 60 and above.
The headline prize goes to the open singles champions. Both the men's and women's open singles winners receive a Kuala Lumpur Grand Prize Experience valued at approximately HK$12,000 each: a four-day Malaysia pickleball exchange trip that includes certified coach training, court time and practice sessions against high-level local players.
Chinachem Group (華懋集團) is title sponsor of the event, which is organised by Bay Pickle with D·PARK serving as co-organiser. The tournament sits within Chinachem's "Places with Heart" placemaking framework, which the company describes as "transforming extensive mall space into a lively sports arena where people of all ages can stay active, have fun and connect through one of the world's fastest-growing sports." All proceeds after costs will be donated in full to the Hong Kong Pickleball Foundation and 知行善心慈善基金.

Alongside the competition, a Pickleball Carnival will run throughout the ten days, featuring DIY creation stations, themed game booths and photo zones designed for families and casual visitors who are not competing.
Match play uses rally-point scoring, with round-robin and elimination rounds played to 15 points and medal games extended to 21. Ends change at 8 and 11 points; each player receives one 1-minute timeout per match, and deuce situations require a two-point margin to decide.
The registration deadline has already passed, with entries closing March 22. The draw and full match schedule are set for release on March 30, giving competitors less than a week to prepare before the opening ceremony.
