Manaseinee Hazarika won two titles at Kohima's 1 lakh prize pool classic, while David Murry reached two finals across the 80-plus player event.

The Kohima Pickleball Classic Tournament 2026, powered by Ahibi Sports, wrapped at the Heritage Pickleball Arena on Officers Hill on March 22 after two days of competition that drew more than 80 players across five categories and distributed a total prize pool of ₹1,00,000.
The tournament's biggest story was Manaseinee Hazarika, who left the Heritage Pickleball Arena with two gold medals. She and Vilasier Khate took the Mixed Doubles title, beating the pair of Anangsha Alomyan and David Murry in the final. Hazarika then returned to claim Women's Doubles alongside Anangsha Aloñ, with Eyeni Yanthan and Chubasenla Aier finishing as runners-up. David Murry had his own standout weekend, winning Men's Doubles with Tonoto Ayemi over Imsurem Longchar and Nzamo Kikon before reaching the Mixed Doubles final with Alomyan.
Mixed Doubles drew the largest field at 22 teams, with Men's Doubles close behind at 20. Women's Doubles, the Team Event, and Veterans Doubles each fielded 8 teams, bringing the total competition slate across all five categories to 66 teams.
In the Team Event, The Home Court defeated The Rally Social Club to claim the title. The Veterans Doubles (Challengers) final went to Abu Metha and Vikhozolie Khate, who edged out Rohan Abraham and Lhouvi Punyu for the win.

The event was held at the Heritage Pickleball Arena at the Old DC Bungalow on Officers Hill, a venue that framed two days of competition across all skill levels. Organizers at Ahibi Sports noted the tournament showcased the growing popularity and competitive spirit of pickleball in Nagaland, calling the classic another milestone in promoting the sport across the state.
With 66 teams competing across five formats and a six-figure prize pool attached, the Kohima Pickleball Classic is establishing itself as a fixture on Nagaland's sporting calendar worth tracking.
