Quang Duong signs Titan Sport deal, boosts Vietnam pickleball professionalism
Quang Duong’s Titan Sport deal goes beyond sponsorship, tying Vietnam’s top pickleball name to recovery, nutrition and a more professional performance model.

Quang Duong has turned a logo deal into a statement about where Vietnamese pickleball is headed. Titan Sport formalized its partnership with the rising star in Ho Chi Minh City on March 26, and the agreement is built around performance, nutrition and recovery, with Duong also expected to make media appearances and share his training and nutrition habits.
That matters because Duong is not being sold as a static endorser. He is being positioned as a working model of modern athlete development, the kind that blends court results, daily preparation and public-facing professionalism. The timing also gives the partnership extra weight. DUPR’s Asia rankings had Duong at No. 1 in Asia men’s singles on March 10, 2026 with a 6.427 rating, then No. 2 in Asia men’s doubles by April 13 with a 6.3 rating. Those numbers make him one of the region’s most visible competitive assets, not just a popular name.
The backstory is sharper than a normal sponsorship release. Duong’s UPA contract was terminated on July 12, 2025 after multiple breaches of exclusivity rules, including an unexcused absence from the MLP Midseason Tournament in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Earlier sanctions had already included a $50,000 fine and suspension tied to an unsanctioned event in Vietnam. He later returned to the pro circuit with the APP Tour, which announced that move on March 3, 2026. Titan Sport is stepping into that arc at the exact moment Duong is trying to rebuild his career on firmer ground.

His profile helps explain why the fit is so deliberate. The International Tennis Federation lists Duong as a 20-year-old former tennis player from the United States, and other profiles point to a junior tennis pedigree before he switched to pickleball in 2023. That background makes the new partnership more than a branding play. It suggests a player who understands elite preparation, and a sponsor that wants to attach itself to a more science-driven standard.
The broader picture is Vietnam’s accelerating push toward seriousness. UPA Asia and YouGov said Asia has about 1.9 billion people aware of pickleball and 812 million who have played at least once, while Vietnam stands out with 88% awareness and 37% regular participation. DUPR also reported Vietnam posted 30% growth in DUPR players over 90 days and 184% growth in 2025. Add in the MB Vietnam Cup 2025 in Da Nang, which drew 7,906 attendees and was recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest attendance at a pickleball event, and Duong’s deal reads like part of a larger shift: Asia’s top players are no longer just winning matches, they are building full performance ecosystems.
