LOCALiQ Wins SEO Award as Agencies Face Revenue-First Scrutiny
LOCALiQ’s SEO win signals a harder test for agencies: show revenue, retention and pipeline growth, not just rankings.

LOCALiQ’s latest award lands in a market that is judging SEO agencies by a tougher standard. The question is no longer whether a site ranks, but whether the work moves revenue, improves lead quality and keeps clients growing. At the 2026 UK Digital Excellence Awards, held on April 27, LOCALiQ was named Standout SEO Agency of the Year, a win that puts commercial impact at the center of the story.
The judges framed that victory in plain business terms. They pointed to “sophisticated use of tenure data” to prove compounding SEO value, and they linked the work to client performance, professional development, pipeline growth and revenue generation. That is a different scoreboard from the old keyword-counting mindset. LOCALiQ said the award recognized sustained agency-wide growth, strong client retention and the measurable business value delivered through SEO strategies, which is exactly the language buyers are now using when they compare agencies.
The company did not leave the night with a single trophy. LOCALiQ also won Standout B2C Website of the Year for its work with Prestige Granite, a result that shows why SEO agencies increasingly need to prove they can do more than chase organic visibility. The Prestige Granite project was described as a technically disciplined and commercially focused SEO migration and conversion transformation that protected search equity while driving measurable business growth. LOCALiQ said the old site had been slow, insecure and little more than a brochure, and it rebuilt that presence into a performance channel with a custom interactive finance calculator, a streamlined browse-to-book journey, simplified forms, always-on mobile click-to-call functionality and a CMS-based self-service offer engine.

That combination matters because it shows where the category is heading. Search work is being measured against conversion, lead generation and sales enablement, not only traffic. LOCALiQ said it was shortlisted in four categories overall, which reinforces the breadth of its pitch across website design, integrated performance marketing, digital PR and SEO leadership. The UK Digital Excellence Awards, founded in 2023 and accredited “Outstanding” by the Independent Awards Standards Council’s Awards Trust Mark, are clearly leaning into that broader definition of excellence.
LOCALiQ had already set a high bar in 2024, when it won Large SEO Agency of the Year at the UK Agency Awards. Judges then cited SEO revenue growth, team headcount growth, year-on-year organic keyword gains across active clients and an SEO masterclass webinar series that drew more than 300 participants. Put together, those wins show the same thing from different angles: agencies are now being rewarded for proving that search work can grow the business, not just the rankings report.
