HomeAid Southern Nevada Collects Baby Essentials for Families in Shelters This March

HomeAid Southern Nevada is midway through a month-long Baby Essentials Drive, collecting new diapers, bottles, sippy cups, wipes, formula, and pacifiers for families experiencing housing instability at three partner organizations: The Shade Tree, Living Grace Homes, and HELP of Southern Nevada. The drive runs through March 31, 2026.

The effort is built around a distributed donation box model. Offices and organizations can host a box at their location, configured either for public drop-off or employee-only participation. Boxes were available for pickup at HomeAid's office at 4175 S. Riley St., Suite 100 in Las Vegas between February 23 and 26. Once the drive closes on March 31, all collected donations are due back to that same office on April 1.

From there, the operation shifts to volunteers. Sorting Day falls on April 2, running from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the HomeAid office, where volunteers will sort and count donated items. Delivery Day follows on April 6, with a tighter one-hour window from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, focused on loading donations onto HomeAid's delivery truck for distribution to the three partner shelters. Registration for both volunteer roles, as well as for hosting a donation box, is available through the HomeAid Southern Nevada website.
