Operation Shower Brings Baby Celebrations to Military Families With Major Sponsor Support
Operation Shower celebrated 38 military moms-to-be at TPC Sawgrass, backed by The PLAYERS Championship, Chicco, Morgan Stanley, and more.

Thirty-eight military moms-to-be gathered at TPC Sawgrass on March 8 for "New To The Club," Operation Shower's signature baby shower event designed for expectant parents in the armed forces and other underserved communities.
The nonprofit, which has built its reputation around bringing the full baby shower experience to military families who often navigate pregnancy without nearby support systems, pulled together a roster of major sponsors to make the celebration possible. The PLAYERS Championship, the PGA Tour's flagship event held annually at TPC Sawgrass, served as a central partner, lending both the iconic Ponte Vedra venue and institutional backing to the effort. Chicco, Comcast Business, Morgan Stanley, and OptumServe rounded out the sponsorship group alongside local community partners.
Operation Shower's model addresses a specific gap in the lives of military families: deployments, frequent relocations, and geographic distance from family networks mean expectant mothers often miss out on the communal rituals that surround new parenthood. The organization steps in with professionally organized events that replicate what many civilian families take for granted, complete with gifts, community, and celebration.

Holding the event at TPC Sawgrass, one of the most recognized golf venues in the world and home to the famous island-green 17th hole, gave the 38 attendees an experience far removed from a standard community hall gathering. The partnership with The PLAYERS Championship signals the kind of institutional investment that elevates Operation Shower's reach beyond grassroots fundraising.
The convergence of corporate sponsors across healthcare, technology, finance, and consumer goods reflects a broadening coalition of support for military family welfare initiatives.
