Time Out Market Barcelona blends Pilates, DJ set, brunch, and brand sampling
A 20-euro ticket will bundle Pilates, a DJ set, brunch and alcohol-free wine tasting at a market built to sell more than food.

Time Out Market Barcelona is turning a Saturday morning into a packaged lifestyle outing, selling Glow Pilates as a single 20-euro ticket that folds in exercise, music, brunch, Natureo 0.0% alcohol-free wine tastings, and gifts from partner brands. The format makes the pitch clear: the workout is only the starting point.
The event is set for Saturday, May 9, from 10:00 to 12:30 at the market in El Gòtic, near Metro Drassanes. Inside that window, the core workout runs from 10:30 to 11:30, followed by a live DJ set from Samuel Vaos and a brunch service from 11:45 to 12:30. The session is framed around strength, flexibility and body control through fluid, precise movements, which puts it closer to a curated wellness experience than a standard class.
That framing matters because Time Out Market Barcelona was built as more than a food hall. It opened in July 2024 on Barcelona’s Old Port and now brings together nine kitchens, a full-service restaurant, four bars, a bakery, an events space, a studio and an outdoor lounge-terrace. Time Out has described its markets as places for cultural programming beyond food, and Barcelona’s version has become a convenient stage for those crossover formats.

Glow Pilates also follows a pattern. Time Out promoted a Pilates & Brunch event at the same market in July 2025 for 27 euros, then a Sculpt & Breakfast event in September 2025 for 27 euros, and later a barre-focused Sant Jordi special on April 25, 2026. The May 9 ticket is cheaper than those earlier fitness-plus-brunch offerings, a small but telling sign that the formula is becoming more repeatable and more finely tuned.
The food angle is broad enough to widen the audience beyond serious gymgoers. Sweet and savory options are listed, along with vegan and gluten-free choices, while the Natureo tastings and branded gifts add a hospitality layer that turns the event into a sampling moment as much as a class. For a venue that already trades on atmosphere, that mix is commercially smart: it creates footfall outside normal meal times and gives wellness brands a way to attach themselves to a polished social setting.

The larger signal is hard to miss. In Barcelona, Pilates is no longer just a workout block on a studio schedule. At Time Out Market Barcelona, it is being repackaged as a social product, one that sells exercise, community, status and hospitality in the same ticket.
