Registration opened during the week of March 17 for Home Depot's virtual Corporate Career Day, hosted on a vFairs microsite and targeting candidates for corporate, remote, flex, and location-based positions across the company's enterprise functions. The event, which took place March 22, drew jobseekers interested in roles spanning Technology, Marketing, Operations, Contact Centers, Data Science, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Merchandising, and more.

The format centers on virtual booths dedicated to corporate functions, where participants network with hiring teams and associates, meet teams, explore job openings, and gain a better understanding of what it's like to work at one of Forbes' World's Best Employers. Flex roles are defined as up to three days in office per week, while most technology and e-commerce positions are remote; location-based roles also exist across the enterprise.

Candidates are encouraged to explore roles and apply before or after the event using the same email address they registered with, and to select "Corporate Career Day" as a source in their application so recruiters can identify attendees who applied from the event.

Participants learn what it's like to work at Home Depot, hear from leaders, and join discussions on topics including retail technology and coding, creating an interconnected customer experience, product, and company culture. The virtual booth roster covers twelve distinct corporate functions, from Data Science and DEI, Sustainability and Military Relations to Merchandising and a dedicated space for current associates looking to explore internal mobility.

Eric Schelling, vice president of global talent acquisition, framed the event's purpose directly: "Every day we focus to make The Home Depot one of the best places to cultivate a long-lasting career. Our culture is our competitive advantage built by our core values, and this event will provide a chance to introduce jobseekers to the ecosystem of career opportunities at The Home Depot."

The event is open to the public to raise awareness of corporate careers in the Store Support Center, and current associates are welcome to tune into the talks and network at the booth designated for them. That means store-level associates, department leads, and managers curious about what a path to the corporate side looks like have a direct access point alongside external candidates.

Home Depot offers a wide range of health and personal benefits, including paid parental leave, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, tuition reimbursement, a discount company stock purchase program, and a company performance-based bonus program. Over the last three years, associates have received more than $1 billion in Success Sharing awards.

Once registered, login details are emailed to participants; they can use those credentials to access the site on the day of the event and for up to 90 days afterward. Open roles are listed at careers.homedepot.com, and registration information is available at homedepotcareers.com.
