Suffolk County Crime Stoppers Seeks Help Identifying Riverhead Target Theft Suspects
Crime Stoppers and Riverhead police released surveillance stills seeking three people who allegedly stole about $3,270 from the Riverhead Target and fled in a silver Toyota Camry, plate 8XKC691.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town police released surveillance stills and asked the public to help identify three people connected to a mid‑February theft at the Riverhead Target. Riverhead News‑Review reports two women and a man entered the store and left with allergy medicine, clothing and boots valued at about $3,270, then fled in a silver Toyota Camry bearing license plate 8XKC691 at approximately 2:00 p.m.; the outlet lists the day as Feb. 17 while an initial bulletin referenced Feb. 16.
The store cited in several bulletins is identified as the Target at 1150 Old Country Road in TBR News Media and other releases, while Riverhead News‑Review described the site as the Target on Route 58. Law enforcement releases circulated this month note surveillance stills were distributed and investigators want help identifying the three people seen in the images.
The Feb. mid‑month alert is one of several theft bulletins tied to the same shopping corridor this season. TBR News Media said a man stole a GOTRAX scooter from Target at 1150 Old Country Road on Oct. 1, valued at about $350, and fled in a white sedan. A separate October bulletin cited by Lilifepolitics names a man who allegedly stole about $300 in clothing from the same address on Oct. 25 at 6:47 p.m. and left on a black motorcycle. TBR News Media also reported an alleged grand larceny on Nov. 30 at about 7:40 p.m., when a man was accused of stealing two Dyson vacuums from the 1150 Old Country Road store.
A related RiverheadLOCAL post circulated a Dec. 11 incident at Marshalls on Old Country Road in which a woman was accused of stealing roughly $560 in merchandise; that bulletin names Marshalls rather than Target and was shared separately on social media.

“Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest,” the agencies’ notices state, and anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1‑800‑220‑TIPS, by using the P3 Tips mobile app (search P3 Tips in the App Store or on Google Play), or by submitting an online tip through the P3 Tips website. “All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.”
The public notices include a standard legal caution about the individuals pictured or described. “Those pictured or described in this story have not been charged with a crime. A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”
Local reports differ on the precise date and on which agency originated each bulletin; one social post carries the line “From SCPD” while most items cite Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Town Police Department or its Crime Control Unit. Investigators have not announced any arrests in connection with the mid‑February thefts in the notices circulated so far. Anyone with information about the cases is urged to call 1‑800‑220‑TIPS or submit a confidential tip through the P3 Tips app or website.
