HeyGears Launches Clear Resin and Transparent Workflow for 3D Printing
HeyGears' new PAF10 Clear resin hits 82% light transmittance with a flexible, PVC-like formulation designed for the Reflex RS and RS Turbo.

HeyGears, the Irvine, California-based 3D printing company, launched its first clear resin on March 13, 2026: the UltraPrint Production PAF10 Clear, built specifically for its Reflex RS and RS Turbo printers. The release came paired with a structured end-to-end Transparent Solution workflow and the opening of a HEYGEARS Official Store on Amazon.
The PAF10 Clear carries a flexible, PVC-like formulation with 82% light transmittance and 34% elongation at break. That combination of optical clarity and flex resistance makes it a reasonable fit for internal structure showcase parts, miniatures, and appearance prototypes where you need to see through the print without it shattering on you. It's priced at $37.99 on sale, down from a regular price of $55.00, through the HeyGears store.
A second resin, the PAT10, rounds out the clear material lineup with 88% light transmittance and anti-yellowing properties, targeting finished product manufacturing and functional structural validation rather than the more flexible applications the PAF10 covers.

The Transparent Solution is the more ambitious piece of the announcement. It's a three-phase workflow that starts at the CAD stage and runs through quality inspection. Phase 1 covers design guidelines with specific recommended values for wall thickness, holes, and pillars. Phase 2 integrates Blueprint Studio, HeyGears' own software, to automatically match printing parameters to transparent resin, with one-click optimization handling the settings. Phase 3 walks through the full post-processing sequence: support removal, sanding, dyeing, spraying, and clear coating, capped with quality inspection standards for evaluating finished parts.
The system's high contrast ratio is cited as a mechanism for reducing residue and keeping surfaces smooth on transparent parts, which is one of the persistent headaches with clear resin printing. HeyGears also introduced UV Gloss Glaze as a finishing accessory, described as providing both a gloss aesthetic and a protective layer for printed surfaces, with applications ranging from figurines to electronics casings and wearables.

The Reflex 2 and Reflex RS Turbo are referenced across the store's Transparent Solution pages alongside the Reflex RS, with precise light projection listed as delivering sharper edges on clear parts. The store content suggests the Transparent Solution guides cover the broader Reflex Series, though the press release specifically pairs PAF10 Clear with the RS and RS Turbo.
