Surreal Brands Recalls 9,400 Tubby Tots Bath Sets Over Child Safety Concerns
A chipped tooth and bruised faces prompted the CPSC recall of 9,400 Tubby Tots Fizzy Flask Bath Magic sets after pressure buildup caused pieces to eject forcefully on opening.

Three injury reports, including a consumer who took a piece to the face and chipped a tooth, triggered Surreal Brands' February 26 recall of roughly 9,400 Tubby Tots Fizzy Flask Bath Magic bath foam sets in the United States. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission posted the official notice that day, with some outlets including USA Today publishing coverage as early as February 25.
The hazard is specific and worth understanding if you have these on your shelf: moisture trapped inside the clear plastic flasks builds up pressure, and when you pop one open, pieces can be forcefully ejected. The CPSC's exact language is "allowing pieces to be forcefully ejected when opened, posing an impact hazard." Two of the three reported incidents resulted in bruises and swelling from being struck in the arm and face; the third left a consumer with a chipped tooth.
The Tubby Tots Fizzy Flask Bath Magic set is packaged as six bath bomb potions in powder form, each sealed in a clear plastic flask and its own individual color box, purple, orange, dark green, pink, blue and light green, all bundled into a single larger outer box wrapped in plastic. If you bought one of these, flip over the large outer box and check the batch number printed on the back. The recalled batch is 082025. That is the only batch covered by this recall. If your box shows that number, stop using it immediately.

The sets sold exclusively online, available through Amazon.com, wonderfunbrands.com, and TikTok Shop under the handle @Wonderfun_Brands, from November 2025 through January 2026, priced between $14 and $15. An additional roughly 600 units were sold in Canada and are included in the recall action.
Surreal Brands is offering a full refund. To claim it, register at wonderfunbrands.com/recall, then take a permanent marker and write "Recalled" directly on the plastic flasks. Once your registration is confirmed, the CPSC instructs consumers to seal the flasks in a garbage bag and put them out with regular household waste collection. Do not leave them in a bathroom cabinet or give them away. For questions, contact Surreal Brands directly at recall@wonderfunbrands.com, or pull the full notice on CPSC.gov.
