The Susquehanna Bonsai Club, a south-central Pennsylvania institution founded in 1980, began its seasonal bonsai exhibit at Hershey Gardens' indoor display space on March 12, 2026. The club, based out of Linglestown, supplies the curated display as part of a recurring partnership with the gardens that also includes a fall run from September 24 through October 11, open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The fall exhibit schedule builds toward Demo Day on Saturday, October 3 at Hershey Gardens, followed by teardown and an organizational meeting on Sunday, October 11 at 1:00 p.m. A winter exhibit is also on the books for Sunday, February 22, running 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with setup likely the day before on Saturday, February 21.

Beyond the exhibit itself, the club's calendar reads like a who's-who of the regional bonsai scene. Tony Bebb presents on Friday, October 23 at 7:00 p.m., followed by Todd Schlafer on November 6. The Annual Planning Meeting is set for Sunday, December 6 at 5:00 p.m. Jim Doyle anchors a Bonsai Display on January 11, then returns March 1 alongside Zach Wheeler. Repotting Day lands on Sunday, March 15, starting at 11:00 a.m. Jennifer Price and Chase Rosade share the floor on March 27, with Yamil Collazo and Kevin Faris paired up on April 24. Guy Guidry presents May 15, Owen Reich takes June 19, and Suthin Sukosolvisit closes out the summer programming on September 18, all at 7:00 p.m.

The club also participates in the MidAtlantic Bonsai Festival, scheduled for April 17 through 19, 2026 at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey in Grantville, PA. The festival draws clubs from across the region, including the Pennsylvania Bonsai Society, Brandywine Bonsai Society, Bergen Bonsai Society, and eight other member organizations, for a weekend of guest artist demonstrations, hands-on workshops, vendor sales, and exhibits.
