Machine Gun Kelly turned a beach-side Instagram Story in Perth into his latest tattoo reveal, showing just enough to read “look” on his left foot and “up” on his right. The tiny word tattoos sat on the tops of his feet, making the design easy to spot in barefoot settings while keeping the full composition deliberately half-hidden.

The post landed on April 6, 2026, as Colson Baker moved through Perth during the Australia and New Zealand leg of his Lost Americana tour. RAC Arena was set to open the run on April 8, followed by Melbourne on April 11, Sydney on April 14, Brisbane on April 16 and Auckland on April 18. In the days around the post, Perth coverage showed him out meeting fans, stopping at a rooftop city bar, visiting an iconic beach and even getting a haircut before the show.

From a placement standpoint, the feet made sense. The mirrored lettering works like a minimalist body-map rather than a random add-on, because the words are small, balanced across both sides and tucked into a zone that can still disappear when he is wearing shoes. On a heavily tattooed body, that matters. Tiny symbolic additions only stay clean when they respect scale, spacing and the existing visual weight around them, and this one reads like a controlled update instead of clutter.

That is part of the larger MGK pattern. He has spent years turning body art into a public narrative, including the massive blackout tattoo he unveiled across much of his upper torso in February 2024. In September 2025, he told The Jennifer Hudson Show that he had been getting tattoos since he was 13 and wanted to redesign what human skin could look like, a line that fits the way he keeps adding new pieces without abandoning the bigger picture.

The tease also worked as promotion. During the Perth set, he joked that “ticket sales were looking rough a couple days ago, but then I posted a picture of my toes.” For a performer who knows how fast a short clip can travel, the feet reveal did more than show fresh ink. It turned a small tattoo into part of the tour’s momentum, and into another chapter of a body that keeps getting remapped in public.
