Com2uS Holdings opened the global early preview for ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD, giving players a short window to try the sci-fi action RPG on Android and PC before the preview closes on May 27. Mobile access is Android-only for this test, while PC players need the Crossplay Launcher, and the preview is live across North America, Europe, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

That access matters because ARES is not being positioned as a simple sequel. Com2uS says the global version was reimagined from an action MMORPG into a single-player-focused action RPG, a sharp shift that puts story and solo progression front and center while keeping co-op PvE, seasonal endgame content, and optional PvP modes in the mix. The setting, pitched for the year 3400 AD, sends players across battlefields in space opera fashion, with the preview opening up Edan Plains, Luna Mountains, and Oculus.

The combat pitch is where ARES looks most likely to earn attention. Its Suit Change system lets players swap between two suits in real time, chaining weapon styles and skills on the fly instead of locking into one fixed role. Official class breakdowns give each suit a distinct identity: Engineer uses a Heavy Gauntlet for tech-based bombardment, Warlord leans on a massive hammer and iron shield defense, Hunter fights with dual blade speed and explosive combo attacks, and Warlock turns cosmic power into wide-area spell damage. That setup suggests a faster, more tactical rhythm than a standard auto-heavy mobile RPG.

Com2uS is also leaning hard into accessibility across devices and languages. The early preview supports 12 languages, including English, Japanese, Chinese in Simplified and Traditional, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. The official page also says play data will reset after the test period, so anything earned in the preview is temporary, although players who join the official Discord during the preview will receive the exclusive First Guardian role with special rewards after launch.

With release still planned for the second half of 2026, this preview is the clearest hands-on look readers will get for now. The mix of Android access, PC crossplay support, real-time suit swapping, and large-scale co-op content gives ARES a real shot at becoming more than just another sci-fi login, especially for players who want to test it before the May 27 cutoff.
