NBA ID 2K Challenge 2026 offers rewards and Summer League trip in Vegas
Ten NBA 2K games and a few playoff streams can unlock a badge, wallpapers and locker codes, plus a Vegas Summer League trip for eligible players.

Ten completed NBA 2K games and some playoff viewing are now enough to turn a linked NBA ID into real in-game and real-world rewards, with a 5-day, 4-night trip for two to Las Vegas sitting at the top of the pile for eligible players. NBA.com and 2K launched the NBA ID 2K Challenge 2026 on May 15, and the window closes at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on May 19, so this is a short grind with a hard stop.
The setup is straightforward, but the details matter. NBA ID members have to sign in, link their NBA ID to their NBA 2K account, and then complete the required actions so Play activity counts toward the challenge. The core asks are simple: play 10 or more NBA 2K games in any mode and watch NBA Playoffs moments, stories, highlights, live games or classic games in the NBA App and on NBA.com. Finish that and the reward package includes an exclusive NBA x 2K digital badge, digital downloads and wallpapers, and NBA 2K Locker Codes while supplies last.

The sweepstakes is the sharper hook. Eligible members in the United States and Canada, excluding Quebec, earn one entry after completing the challenge, and the official rules say the promotion is open only to legal permanent residents of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and Canada excluding Quebec, who are at least the age of majority where they live. There is also a mail-in entry option for the sweepstakes. The grand prize is a 5-day, 4-night trip for two to the 2026 NBA 2K Summer League in Las Vegas, with round-trip travel, hotel accommodations and tickets to select Summer League events included.
That trip has a real destination, not just a vague Vegas splash. NBA Summer League 2026 is scheduled for July 9-19 at the Thomas & Mack Center and the Pavilion at the UNLV campus, and all 30 NBA teams are set to be there. That gives the prize some actual weight, especially for players who already live in NBA 2K and keep an eye on the league’s summer calendar.
The best part, if you are already active in MyCAREER, MyTEAM or any other mode, is that the lift is small for the upside. NBA Help Center materials say NBA 2K x NBA ID members get access to exclusive NBA 2K benefits and drops throughout the season, and linked NBA 2K accounts are required for locker-code benefits. The challenge also fits a pattern NBA ID has already established with limited-time runs like Season Debut, All-Star and the postseason campaign that ended May 3. If you were going to play anyway, link the account now, get the 10 games done and let the playoff viewing count before the May 19 deadline shuts the door.
