Gray, Georgia Welcomes Giganti on Main, a Fresh Italian Pasta Destination
Jones County siblings Keith Dupree and Ashley Robertson opened Giganti on Main in Gray with five pasta shapes, seven sauces, and zero canned ingredients.

A family of Jones County siblings brought authentic Italian pasta to downtown Gray when they opened Giganti on Main at 124 West Clinton Street, and the restaurant's name tells you exactly who is running the kitchen. "Giganti" is Italian for giant, a nod to the Robertson-Dupree family's notably tall build, and their culinary ambitions appear to match the name.
Ashley Robertson, one of the co-owners, said the Italian concept evolved naturally as her brother Keith Dupree built the menu from scratch. Dupree, the head chef, came to the project with serious restaurant experience across multiple kitchens, and when he sat down to design the menu, it became entirely Italian. "One of our brothers is the chef, and he has worked in Italian cuisine before," Robertson said. "He has a lot of restaurant experience in different places, and he decided that it was time to open something of his own."
The family affair extends beyond Ashley and Keith. Two additional brothers work operations alongside their father, and Robertson said the blend of shared history and prior industry experience has made the early weeks run smoothly. "Keith and I, we have worked together in restaurants before," she said. "It's just bringing in other siblings, along with our dad, so just kind of making it a family affair."
For pasta diners, the core draw is a customizable build-your-own setup: five pasta shapes paired against seven sauces, all prepared from scratch. Robertson was emphatic on one point: nothing comes from a can. The menu rounds out with six full entrees, including traditional lasagna, eggplant parmesan, chicken parmigiana, and chicken marsala. Seafood options extend to a salmon pesto and a parmesan herb-crusted salmon. On the starters end, the Giganti fries arrive as a generous portion tossed in garlic, chives, and parmesan cheese.
For a first visit, the customizable pasta station is where to focus. Ask the staff which of the five shapes holds up best with the heavier sauces and which they would pair with something lighter. The traditional lasagna is the dependable anchor for first-timers, and the salmon pesto makes a strong case if you want to move off the pasta column. Families will also find butter noodles on the kids' menu, a low-stakes entry point for younger diners.
The community response since opening has confirmed what the family suspected about Gray's appetite for this kind of from-scratch cooking. "The community has been great," Robertson said. As Jones County residents themselves, the siblings opened not just a restaurant but a stake in their own downtown, and the early momentum suggests Giganti on Main has landed at exactly the right address on West Clinton Street.
