Positano Ristorante Opens in Annapolis, Serving Amalfi Coast Pastas and Pizzas

Positano Ristorante & Pizzeria swung open its doors at 106 Annapolis Street on Thursday afternoon, March 13, bringing an Amalfi Coast-inspired menu to downtown Annapolis. The eatery began welcoming its first diners at around 4 p.m., adding a new Italian option to a city already recognized for its robust food scene.

Taking its cues from the southern Italian coastline, the kitchen turns out pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and fresh seafood alongside other Italian plates. The menu and ambiance are designed to evoke the flavors and feel of the Amalfi Coast, giving Annapolis diners a destination-style experience without leaving Maryland.

Positano operates seven days a week. Sunday through Thursday hours run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., while Friday and Saturday service extends to 11 p.m. The restaurant is accepting walk-ins and also allows diners to book reservations online.
