The Photographic Resource Center's juried student exhibition opened at the VanDernoot Gallery inside Lesley University's University Hall, 1815 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, running through April 19, 2026. Now in its 20th year, the PRC Student Show has assembled work from more than 30 named student photographers representing nine colleges and universities across Greater Boston, with a notable first for 2026: three local high schools have joined the exhibitor roster for the first time, extending the show's reach into earlier stages of photographic education.

The full list of college exhibitors spans a cross-section of Boston's arts and higher education landscape. Boston University contributes August Puplava and Vic Ferreira; Emerson College sends Kiki Tobor, Natalie He, and Danny Kennedy. Endicott College has four exhibitors: Ethan LeJeune, Olivia Fuccione, Catherine Scarantino, and Isabella Smith. The host institution, Lesley University, is represented by Tynan Byrne, Marianna Cenci, Emi Kokubo, and Ali Rajabi. Massachusetts College of Art and Design brings Connor Archambault, Antonio Bailey, Suzi Grossman, and Kyndel Whiteford. Northeastern University sends Darya Bernard, Noah Brown, and Karl Kang. SMFA at Tufts contributes Zak Goldstein, Geri Hart, Ember Skirsky, and Liangsi Wang. Simmons University rounds out the college contingent with Sam Bruetsch, Olivia Lincoln, Tiana Robles, and Cat Teo. Curry College is also listed among participating institutions, though exhibitor names were not finalized in published materials.

Stanhope Framers fully sponsors the 2026 edition, with the PRC crediting the framer's support as what made both the exhibition and its related programming possible.

An opening reception is scheduled for March 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public, giving anyone in the Greater Boston photography community a chance to meet the exhibitors and see the work in person before the show closes on April 19.

The high school expansion is the structural story beneath the anniversary milestone. Twenty years in, the PRC Student Show is no longer just a college showcase; it's positioning itself as a pipeline that catches photographers at every stage, from their first darkroom or digital course through undergraduate programs. The names of the three participating high schools hadn't been published in PRC materials at time of writing, but their inclusion signals a deliberate effort to formalize early-career support in a city whose photography programs have historically centered on university-level work.
