Goonhammer announced "Armageddon Is Fully Live" in its January, 2026 Administratum update, adding a standalone Armageddon add-on that records "strategic points, campaign points, narrative goals, alliances, and phases all from within this add-on." The release lists Chaos Knights, Death Guard, Drukhari, Emperor’s Children, Grey Knights, Imperial Knights, Leagues of Votann, Astra Militarum, Space Wolves, Thousand Sons, and World Eaters as supported factions.

The update clarifies scope for those factions: "Most of these are simple Early Access Requisition support, but we've got quite a few Roster and Campaign Dashboard widgets to show off." Goonhammer emphasized the add-on is self-contained: "It's entirely standalone, no need to touch Administratum's existing Teams or Phases feature. Just install the add-on and get playing!" The site also noted that add-ons recommended for a roster "will be sorted to the top in a 'Recommended' section."

Campaign admins get explicit customization options in Armageddon. Goonhammer states "You can fully customize your Armageddon. Adjust the number of phases or alliances. If you're truly Narrative Brained, then you can also crack open the narrative goals and build your own customized goal trees." The team caveated the UI work: "A more fleshed out UI for the narrative goal tree is in-progress. But you can set them up and have things ready to go when the narrative goal tree makes its way out of the code mines!"

The January update bundles bug fixes alongside features. Goonhammer fixed "a typo in Add-on - Codex: Adepta Sororitas. They are no longer 'lonley'". The update also "Fixed a bug in Formatted Notes and Markdown where the :::columns token was not parsed correctly" and added a catch‑all note: "Fixed who knows what else. We've thrown a lot of code at the wall recently`" A short fragment in the release reads "Too much data customization" as an editorial note on the update's scope.

The company reiterated patron access and pricing for new add-ons: "As with our other add-ons, these are available to Patrons who subscribe to Goonhammer at the Official Patron level ($5 per month) or above, and subscribers at the Warhound level ($10 per month) and above can make the add-ons available to anyone playing in a campaign they’ve created." Goonhammer thanked supporters directly: "If you’ve supported us this whole time, thanks for sticking with us this far! And if you’re new to the app and just now helping out, thanks!" The update also pitched the benefits in one line: "And if you aren’t supporting us, consider starting – not only do you get cool exclusive features in Administratum, you also get access to exclusive features in Tabletop Battles, access to our Discord, exclusive podcasts, and the ability to turn off ads on the site."

Community reaction surfaced on r/Goonhammer, where Reddit user LCPaints asked, "Hi there! I just joined the Goonhammer patreon to get access to the Administratum app, but it doesn't seem like it's been updated in some time. Does anyone know if there's plans to add the rest of the missing content from the newer releases?" Goonhammer framed this release as follow-up to prior work: "If you missed our last update, you can find it here – we added support for Codex: Leagues of Votann, Emperor’s Children, Chaos Knights, Grey Knights, Imperial Knights, World Eaters, and Armageddon."

The post carries the New Year tone of the development team: "Happy New Year, narrative players! We’ve been hard at work on updates to Administratum over the holiday break," and credits a contributor by name: "And special thanks to Droodlin, who took up the pickaxe and joined me in the code mines to help get this update out!" The update was published within the last 72 hours and is labeled New Administratum Updates - January, 2026, with the narrative goal tree UI listed as the next visible work in progress.
