Delray Beach full moon yoga night blends flow, sound healing, dance

Full Moon Yoga turned Old School Square in Delray Beach into an "ecstatic night under the stars" on Monday, June 29, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority hosted the gathering, which paired Jessica Om and Pedro Luna’s full moon-inspired yoga flow with live beats from DJ VANAHATA.

After the yoga portion, the program shifted into sound healing and ecstatic dance, with DJ SUBSQWAD carrying the night. Event materials encouraged flow artists to bring props and join the celebration.

A free ticket option sat alongside donation tiers of $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100, with processing fees added to paid donations. The event was first come, first served, and paid tickets were non-refundable.

Old School Square, at 51 N Swinton Avenue, is a historic cultural arts campus in downtown Delray Beach that includes the Cornell Art Museum, Delray Beach Amphitheatre, the Vintage Gym, the Park, the Crest Theatre and the Creative Arts School. The City of Delray Beach calls it the city’s "epicenter for the Cultural Arts," and the Old School Square Historic District carries a period of significance from 1898 to 1943.

The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority, established in 1971, took on its role at Old School Square in December 2022 under an interlocal agreement with the city. The downtown calendar included Full Moon Yoga alongside summer programming such as Art & Jazz on the Avenue and a Sunset Concert, while additional Full Moon Yoga dates in Delray Beach are January 31 and July 28, 2026.
