Hot Yoga Studio INWRD Opens in Wiltshire, Blending Heated Flows and Therapy

Fiona Shaw trained in Rishikesh, taught across international and community settings for a decade, and now runs what she describes as the only hot yoga studio in the region operating inside a CrossFit facility. INWRD, her studio at CrossFit Warminster in Corsley Heath, Wiltshire, opened in November and has since built a programme spanning temperatures from 30 to over 40 degrees, sound baths to arm balance workshops, and one-to-one therapy for adults and children.

"INWRD is a welcoming hot yoga studio offering daily, varied classes for all levels," Shaw said. "We're proud to be one of the only hot yoga studios for miles, and the only one based within a CrossFit space."

The class range reflects the full width of Shaw's teaching background. At the top of the thermostat, energising hot flows push past 40 degrees. At the cooler end, 30-degree candlelit restorative sessions centre on breathwork and recovery. Between those two poles sit skill-building workshops, including arm balance foundations, alongside celebratory practices and immersive sound baths.

Shaw's placement within CrossFit Warminster is more than a matter of shared square footage. The embedded model is designed to create cross-referral between two disciplines that rarely share a postcode: CrossFit's strength and conditioning clients alongside yoga practitioners seeking mobility and restoration. For a new studio in a regional market, the arrangement also reduces the overhead burden that tends to make standalone heated yoga spaces financially difficult outside major cities.

Beyond group classes, Shaw offers private yoga therapy for adults and young people, including sessions tailored for children with special educational needs and social, emotional and mental health challenges, a population that rarely appears in studio marketing of any kind.
