Wild Thing and Alo Launch Year-Long Yoga Residency in Little River
Wild Thing studio in Little River is partnering with Alo for a year-long residency offering monthly free community classes and ticketed experiences, expanding local access to wellness events.

Wild Thing, the Tulum-inspired yoga studio that opened in November 2025, has announced a year-long residency with athleisure and wellness brand Alo, bringing regular free classes and ticketed experiences to Little River. The partnership promises two events each month in 2026: one free community class and one ticketed session with refreshments and Alo gifting.
The series kicks off January 24 with Intentions in Motion, a community flow taught by Miami instructor April May Gardner. The first ticketed event, Embodying Intentions with Zoe Mitchell, follows January 31 and costs $45 for members and $60 for nonmembers. Classes will be held at Wild Thing’s 2,500-square-foot studio at 162 NW 73rd St., a space that features outdoor showers, front and back gardens, and a cold plunge.
This residency marks Alo’s first long-term studio partnership in Miami. The Los Angeles-based brand, founded in 2007, already has retail locations at Aventura Mall, Brickell City Centre, Dadeland Mall, and Lincoln Road. For Wild Thing, the tie-up offers ongoing programming and product integration; for Alo, it creates a direct presence in a neighborhood with growing wellness traffic.

“We’re extremely intentional about who we bring into the Wild Thing ecosystem. When Alo reached out a few weeks ago, what stood out wasn’t just the scale of the brand, but really how aligned their values are with ours. Wild Thing was built around that same reverence for nature and the body. So, it felt less like a collaboration and more like a continuation of a shared philosophy,” said Alejandra Barraza, Wild Thing’s cofounder.
Practically, the residency widens access to drop-in offerings in Little River by guaranteeing a free community class each month and keeping ticketed events affordable for members. Wild Thing’s schedule includes hot yoga, breathwork, and sound healing in addition to flow classes, so participants can test modalities and teachers before committing to multi-class passes. Alo’s gifting at ticketed sessions will also let attendees try products without a retail visit.
Wild Thing is positioning the residency to activate both its indoor studio and outdoor features, encouraging post-class social time in the gardens or quick recovery in the cold plunge. The collaboration could raise Little River’s profile as a neighborhood destination for community-driven wellness, drawing curious practitioners from other parts of Miami.
