Warren Kenneth Wilber Jr., 54, of Keshena died Friday, March 6, 2026. Born October 16, 1971, in Appleton to Warren Wilber Sr. and the late Antionette "Tudy" (Waupoose) Wilber, he spent his life rooted in the Menominee community, graduating from Menominee High School with the class of 1990. His funeral service was held Wednesday, March 11, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Wisconsin Highway 47 in Keshena, with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Arrangements were handled by Swedberg Funeral Home and Crematory in Shawano.

Wilber left a mark on Menominee athletics that outlasted his school years. While at Menominee High, he held a track and field record for numerous years. He was also inducted into one of the first classes of the Menominee High School Athletic Hall of Fame, recognized for his role on the 1988 cross-country team, an honor that placed him among the first athletes the school formally enshrined.

His range of interests told the story of a man who moved through life with energy and commitment. In his younger years he was a competitive breakdancer. He was an avid bear and deer hunter and a longtime member of SmokeyTown. As a construction worker, he carried genuine pride in the projects he completed, sharing the details of his work with those around him. His obituary, posted by Swedberg Funeral Home on the day he died, captures him plainly: "He will be remembered as a man who shared his knowledge with loving family and friends."
