The Marathon Business and Professional Women’s Foundation will revive its signature Keysino Night on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, with an evening of casino-style gaming, food and philanthropy set for 6:00–10:00 p.m. The Gatsby-themed fundraiser returns after a one-year hiatus in 2025 and will direct proceeds to the BPW’s Stacy Kidwell Memorial Scholarship, awarded each year to a Marathon High School senior, as well as adult scholarships for women and other local charitable initiatives.

Organizers say the 2026 edition was designed to “up the ante” after last year’s pause. Keysino Night coordinator Lorna Sanchez said, “Marlin Bay brings a whole other level of entertainment.” Keysweekly reported the BPW and its partners expanded the production to create what Sanchez called “more of a complete experience.”

Program highlights for the Feb. 28 event include an expanded casino floor with more roulette and blackjack tables than ever before, staffed by Casino Party Nights Florida professionals. Attendees will receive gaming chips that are cashed in by the end of the night for raffle tickets to win high-dollar prizes. The evening will feature heavier hors d’oeuvres, live music and three separate bars, including a password-protected secret speakeasy; Keysweekly noted each ticket also includes a free cocktail.

The fundraiser is staged “against the picturesque backdrop of the grounds at Marlin Bay Resort,” with a public event listing showing the address 3800 Gulfview Avenue, Marathon, FL 33050. The FloridaKeysMarathon event listing specifies the 6:00–10:00 p.m. timeframe; VisitFloridaKeys promotion frames the night as a coastal take on 1920s glamour and island entertainment.

Promotional materials for the event invite guests to embrace the theme and atmosphere: “Escape to the Florida Keys for Gatsby Keysino Night - an evening of 1920s glitz, glamour, gaming, and coastal cocktails hosted by BPW Marathon. Slip into flapper dresses and fedoras, enjoy music and island vibes while supporting local women's programs. Sip cocktails, try casino-style gaming, mingle and enjoy island sunsets. Perfect for leisure travelers.”

While the promotion encourages 1920s attire, Sanchez emphasized the social tone is optional, saying, “It’s Gatsby-themed, but it’s just for fun and you don’t have to dress up.” That balance of pageantry and accessibility is part of the BPW’s pitch to draw longtime supporters and new attendees to support scholarships and community programs.

Keysweekly described Keysino Night as one of the Middle Keys’ most popular fundraisers and a highlight of Marathon’s social calendar. With the event scheduled for Feb. 28, 2026, the BPW aims to translate the evening’s gaming and hospitality into scholarship dollars for Marathon High School students and adult learners across the community.
