Lincoln Amphitheatre Announces Most of 2026 Season with Perry County Community Foundation
Lincoln Amphitheatre released most of its 2026 lineup on Feb. 3, with the 2,200-seat venue in Lincoln State Park entering its 39th season and four shows already sold out.

The Lincoln Amphitheatre announced Feb. 3 that it has released the majority of its 2026 performance season, presenting a May-through-October slate as the 2,200-seat venue in Lincoln State Park in Lincoln City enters its 39th year of live entertainment. The schedule was presented with support from the Spencer County Community Foundation and the Perry County Community Foundation, and the venue said tickets for announced shows are on sale now at lincolnamphitheatre.com.
The announcement framed 2026 as a continuation of momentum after what the Amphitheatre described as a landmark 2025 season, the first after a major infrastructure and seating expansion that delivered the highest attendance and revenue totals in more than a decade. Amy Howell, interim CEO of the Indiana Destination Development Corporation, tied that financial uptick to public investment: “Last year’s growth confirmed what we’ve long believed: when you invest in a place that matters, people show up.”
The season mixes nationally touring artists, regional favorites and family programming while the state-owned, state-supported facility continues to be managed by the Indiana Destination Development Corporation. Venue director Marc Steczyk framed the programming as community-centered: “Each season is an opportunity to bring people together in a setting that’s unlike anywhere else in Indiana. We’re proud of what this venue represents and incredibly grateful for the support that keeps it thriving.” The Amphitheatre also said one additional national act for 2026 will be announced soon.
The announced dates from Santaclausind’s Feb. 3 posting and the venue release include: Saturday, May 16, Johnny Folsom 4 (a tribute to Johnny Cash); Sunday, May 17, Johnny Folsom 4 (Amp Unplugged matinee); Saturday, May 30, Hollywood Nights, the Bob Seger Experience (listed as SOLD OUT); Saturday, June 6, Face 2 Face (tribute to Elton John & Billy Joel); Saturday, June 13, Thunderstruck (America’s AC/DC tribute, SOLD OUT); Thursday–Saturday, June 25–27, Pioneer Song: A Celebration of Lincoln Amphitheatre Musicals; Saturday, July 11, former Journey lead singer Steve Augeri; Saturday, August 15, TUSK (Fleetwood Mac tribute, SOLD OUT); Saturday, August 29, The Wallflowers, Bringing Down the Horse 30th Anniversary Tour; Saturday, September 5, Sawyer Brown; and Saturday, September 12, On the Border (the Ultimate Eagles Tribute, SOLD OUT).
Ticketing details quoted in the venue material note that each ticket price is inclusive of concert admission, parking, facility and service charges, and Lincoln State Park’s gate fee. The Amphitheatre’s official site is listed as the primary purchase point; the venue also indicates tickets may be available at the box office, and recommends visitors check the official site for current box office hours and any updates on the additional national act.
From an economic perspective, the combination of a 2,200-seat capacity, sold-out tribute headliners and the post-expansion revenue peak in 2025 suggests the Lincoln Amphitheatre continues to be a material contributor to local visitor spending for Perry County and nearby Spencer County. With presenting support from the Spencer County Community Foundation and the Perry County Community Foundation, the 2026 season underlines a public-private model of cultural investment that the IDDC and venue leadership say has translated into higher attendance and revenue. Readers with photos or memories of past Lincoln Amphitheatre shows are invited to share them with the newsroom as the season approaches.
