Linda Mae Osborne, 85, of Tell City Passes Away March 23
Linda Mae Osborne, who made Tell City her home after marrying Fredrick Osborne in June 1958, died peacefully at The Timbers of Jasper on March 23. She was 85.
Linda Mae Osborne, born on October 31, 1940, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, to Francis and Ruth (Braham) Foss, spent most of her life far from New England. She came to Tell City by way of marriage, wedding Fredrick Osborne in June 1958, and the Osborne name became her connection to Perry County for more than six decades.
She died peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026, at The Timbers of Jasper, a senior care facility in nearby Jasper. She was 85.
Her husband, Fredrick Osborne, preceded her in death, as did her son Frederick Edward Osborne Jr., who passed away in May 2020.
