Topsham Felon Arrested with 14 Firearms, Drugs at Local Home
A convicted felon from Topsham was arrested March 24 after police seized 14 firearms and 57 grams of cocaine base from his West School House Crossing Road home.

Fourteen firearms and a cache of suspected cocaine found inside a Topsham residence led to the arrest of Peter Jellison-Bozeman, 45, a convicted felon who faces charges that include aggravated drug trafficking and illegal gun possession.
The Topsham Police Department was called to investigate suspected drug activity at West School House Crossing Road on March 1. Officers spoke with several people at the home and, after becoming aware of suspected drug activity inside, requested backup from state narcotics investigators. The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency responded to assist, and agents executed a search warrant, seizing close to 57 grams of cocaine base, seven grams of cocaine, 14 firearms, and $1,500 in suspected drug proceeds.
The volume of firearms — 14 in a single residence, allegedly in the hands of a prohibited person — was the most striking element of the case. Investigators allegedly seized 57 grams of cocaine base, seven grams of cocaine, $1,500 in suspected drug proceeds, and 14 firearms during the search of the property.
Jellison-Bozeman was apprehended later and arrested on March 24. He was charged with aggravated drug trafficking, possession of firearms by a prohibited person, and criminal simulation. Criminal simulation, under Maine law, applies when a person makes or alters property to make it appear to have age or authenticity in an attempt to defraud — though the specific items underpinning that charge in this case have not been publicly disclosed by police.
Jellison-Bozeman was transported to the Sagadahoc County Jail and booked. His bail was set at $1,000. The case remains under investigation, and neither the Topsham Police Department nor the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency had released a public statement with additional details as of publication.
