A recovered 2015 Ford F350 valued at $50,000 and a cluster of arrests for menacing, harassment and weapons offenses stand out in Sterling police logs spanning mid‑January into early February. The entries show property losses and repeated calls to the 1500 block of W. Main St., and several arrests tied to protection‑order violations.
The Jan. 19 motor vehicle theft report lists a 2015 Ford F350 taken from the 200 block of Edwards Ave. and later recovered; officers documented stolen tools valued at $8,800 and damage to nine tool boxes and locks valued at $1,000. The Jan. 19 log also shows the arrest of Kelly Marie Colle, 50, of Sterling, at the 1500 block of W. Main St. on a warrant out of Fort Collins for failure to comply.
Earlier entries include three arrests on Jan. 11. At 9:51 a.m. James Nicholas Leonard, 45, of Elkhart, Indiana, was taken into custody on a warrant out of the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office for failure to comply at the 600 block of Fairhurst St. At 2:15 p.m. Jeremy Richard Todd Feyes, 33, of Sterling, was arrested in the 700 block of S. Eighth Ave. on a Sterling Police Department contempt of court warrant. At 4:29 p.m. Michelle Lyn Ward, 27, of Sterling, was arrested in the 100 block of W. Broadway St. on charges of felony menacing and assault in the third degree.
A Jan. 12 entry records the arrest of Aaron Grant, 28, at 12:32 p.m. in the 500 block of E. Chestnut St. on charges listed as violation of a protection order, domestic violence and felony menacing. That same day police were dispatched at 4:37 p.m. to the 500 block of Oak St. for suspicious activity, at 5:34 p.m. to the 1500 block of W. Main St. for a theft and at 7:33 p.m. to the 1400 block of E. Chestnut St. for vandalism.
On Jan. 16 logs show multiple citations and dispatches. Velta Marshall, 64, was arrested at 8:23 a.m. in the 300 block of Iris Dr. on failure to appear and disturbing the peace. At 4:41 p.m. Breanna Gonzalez Anchondo, 32, was issued a citation for failure to appear in the 1500 block of W. Main St. At 6:00 p.m. both Courtney Bonn, 21, and Anthony Whited, 38, received citations for theft in the 100 block of Broadway St. That day police were also dispatched to the 1500 block of W. Main St. at 7:05 a.m. for theft, to the 1400 block of E. Chestnut St. at 7:46 a.m. for vandalism, to Edith Ave. and County Road 26 at 8:55 a.m. for suspicious activity, to the 1100 block of Nottingham Ct. at 9;03 a.m. for a parking complaint, to the 600 block of N. Fourth Ave. at 10:51 a.m. for a disturbance, to the 300 block of Main St. at 11:30 a.m. for a parking complaint, to the 1500 block of W. Main St. at 4:11 p.m. for a hit‑and‑run and to N. Sixth St. and Walnut St. at 4:50 p.m. for suspicious activity.

Jan. 18 entries include two Sterling arrests with extensive charges. At 8:54 p.m. Matthew Chisholm, 36, of Sterling, was arrested in the 110 block of Riverview Rd. on a Sterling Police Department warrant charging felony menacing, possession of weapons by a previous offender, assault in the third degree, violation of a protection order, child abuse without injury and harassment. At 4:59 a.m. Lamarious Harris, 24, of Sterling, was arrested in the 200 block of N. Seventh Ave. on charges of harassment, domestic violence and child abuse.
Feb. 9 logs record the arrest of Matthew John Pacheco, 30, of Sterling, at 2:05 a.m. in the 400 block of N. Fourth St. on charges including violation of a protection order, third degree criminal trespass, harassment, disorderly conduct and violation or revocation of a bail bond, and the arrest of Amber Kay Makinster, 35, of Sterling, at 2:57 p.m. in the 1100 block of Platte St. on a Sterling Police Department failure to appear warrant.
The Journal‑Advocate police log includes the publication’s legal notice: "The following are reports from local law enforcement agencies. All defendants are presumed innocent until found guilty."
