The Logan County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual "State of the Community Address" on Thursday, March 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Tennant Art Gallery, inside Hays Student Center on the Northeastern Junior College campus. The event is scheduled as a two-hour public forum on the NJC campus in Sterling where chamber leaders plan to review last year and outline priorities for 2026.
"Community leaders will speak about projects and accomplishments of 2025 and give a preview of what's to come in 2026," the event notice says, and organizers describe it as open to a range of stakeholders. "This is an opportunity for Chamber members, business leaders, and the general public to hear first-hand from officials and administrators regarding the future of Logan County."
The Logan County Chamber frames the address within a broader mission: "The Logan County Chamber is dedicated to support, promote, and guide the business and civic communities of Logan County to nurture positive business and community growth." Chamber materials list executive members including Walmart, Bank of Colorado, First FarmBank and Mead Lumber Company, and identify partnership members such as Sterling Regional MedCenter hires, Simon Contractors, orthEasternJunior College, Viaero, Great Western Tire, Sterling Correctional Facility, Xcell Energy, Precision Homes, Wickham Tractor Company, Nichols Tillage Tools, Pradera Dental, Sugarloaf Dispensary and Creative Eyeworks.
The chamber's online listings also highlight local programs and resources that provide context for the address: Member Benefits & Resources, Member Directory, Members-to-Members Benefits, Safety Council, Leadership Logan County, Young Professionals, Logan County Collaborative, the Pursuit of Excellence Video Series and a 2025 Community Resource Guide. The site promotes MyChamberApp, noting that "MyChamberApp allows chamber members to promote their businesses, events and hot deals to people living and visiting within their local community," and offers IOS and Android download options.

As of the published notice, no speaker roster, registration or admission cost was supplied with the event listing; specific names and titles of officials and administrators expected to speak have not been released. The Tennant Art Gallery location is identified only as being inside Hays Student Center on the Northeastern Junior College campus; a street address for the venue was not provided in the chamber materials.
