NYPD Seeks Suspect Who Kicked Into Pizza Hut Break Room in Bronx
A man kicked open the employee break room door at a Bronx Pizza Hut on Feb. 25, fled empty-handed, and remains unidentified as NYPD seeks public tips.

A man forced his way into the employee-only break room at the Pizza Hut on Ogden Avenue in the Highbridge section of the Bronx, kicking the door open just before 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 25, according to authorities. He left without taking anything and ran from the store, but no arrest has been made and the NYPD is asking the public to help identify him.
The location is the Pizza Hut at 1048 Ogden Ave., a commercial stretch in Highbridge where Ogden runs parallel to the Harlem River. The break room, restricted to employees, was the apparent target of the intrusion. Authorities have not disclosed what, if anything, the man may have been attempting to take, nor have they released a physical description beyond identifying the suspect as a man.
The incident drew attention on social media after a local news outlet reported the story, with the post generating 30 reactions, 16 comments, and 25 shares. The online response was largely sardonic, with one commenter speculating the intruder was "searching for free frozen pie boxes."

No injuries to employees or customers were reported. No charges have been filed and no arrest has been made as of the time of reporting.
The NYPD is urging anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Tips can be submitted anonymously.
