Pizza Hut at 6432 Two Notch Road in Columbia Closes Feb. 16

The Pizza Hut at 6432 Two Notch Road in the Arcadia Lakes shopping center in Columbia closed on Feb. 16, 2026, according to a notice posted to the restaurant’s front door that read, "We sincerely thank you for your loyalty and support," and invited customers to visit nearby locations at 9702 Two Notch Road and 2400 Forest Drive.

The printed notice did not give a reason for the store’s closure. The chain’s online store-locator still listed 6432 Two Notch Road as open on the morning of Feb. 16, and "The store appeared open when a reporter drove by on the morning of Feb. 16," creating a same-day discrepancy between the posted notice and the public listing and observed status.

The unit sits on the east end of the Arcadia Lakes Shopping Center near Columbia Place Mall, and the center was sold in November 2025 to a Baltimore-based company for $3 million. The buyer’s press release said it planned cost-effective upgrades including repaving the parking lot, exterior lighting, landscaping and exterior painting, and the press release did not mention tenant closures.

The Arcadia Lakes strip includes other tenants such as The Q Spot barbecue joint. Pizza Hut is one of the largest U.S. pizza chains, with a ScrapeHero tally of more than 6,700 locations nationwide, and the company’s store-locator shows there are more than a dozen Pizza Hut locations in the greater Midlands area to absorb some local demand.

An online brief of the closure includes the truncated phrase "has been removed from active o" that ends mid-word in the available copy. Published photos show the restaurant exterior and the closing sign; the posted notice redirected customers to the two alternate addresses but gave no company contact or explanation for the decision. For now, customers in the Arcadia Lakes area are being directed to 9702 Two Notch Road and 2400 Forest Drive while the future of the 6432 Two Notch Road unit remains unreported by the company.
