Taco Bell Unveils 2026 Menu Roadmap at Live Más LIVE Fan Event
Nacho Fries are going permanent in 2026, and that's just one of 20+ items Taco Bell dropped at its Hollywood Palladium fan event last week.
Taco Bell used a concert-scale Hollywood production to lay out its most extensive menu roadmap to date, unveiling more than 20 innovations for 2026 at Live Más LIVE: A Night at The Palladium on March 12. The announcement, delivered by Taco Bell leaders and marketing teams at the Hollywood Palladium and now streaming exclusively on Peacock, marks the event's first appearance on the platform and its third consecutive year as the brand's signature product reveal.
The headline from the night: Nacho Fries will become a permanent menu item in 2026, ending years of limited-time returns and resolving one of the most persistent requests from the chain's customer base. Joining them is a slate of items that signals how far Taco Bell is pushing its kitchen complexity this year.
New savory additions include the Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza with Jalapeño Citrus Salsa, built from slow-roasted chicken and black beans layered between crispy tortillas and topped with green chile sauce, a three-cheese blend, cabbage, and pico de gallo, served with both a Jalapeño Citrus Salsa and an Avocado Verde Salsa. The Mexican Pizza Empanadas, available in three- or six-count portions, are filled with seasoned beef, a melty three-cheese blend, and a bold sauce, served with Mexican Pizza sauce for dipping. The Flamin' Hot Mini Taco Salad puts seasoned beef, Fritos Flamin' Hot corn chips, cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, and refried beans into a crispy tortilla bowl rimmed with Flamin' Hot seasoning. Three new dusted Crispy Chicken Nuggets flavors round out the savory additions, with Diablo Dusted among the named variants.
On the sweets and drinks side, Taco Bell is expanding into eight new desserts and drinks, including the Crème Brûlée Crunchwrap Slider, a Milk Bar Birthday Cake Empanada, and the Strawberry Horchata Refresca. The Mountain Dew Baja Midnight Pie and a Salt & Straw Tacolate Chiller also appear on the slate, along with a Cold Brew with Purple Horchata Cold Foam. Cheesy G Sliders were called out as a bold new form factor alongside the broader lineup.
For crew members, the product complexity embedded in several of these items represents a meaningful operational ask. Two new salsas on the Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza alone require new recipes, prep steps, and storage considerations. The three-count and six-count empanada format adds a portioning decision to the line. The chicken nuggets, arriving in multiple dusted flavors, will likely require distinct breading or seasoning protocols. Taco Bell has not released public rollout timelines or training materials for franchisees and operators, and the sources reviewed for this article do not include internal operational guidance. Global Chief Brand Officer Taylor Montgomery characterized Live Más LIVE as a preview of what he described as an already action-packed year. The event itself was hosted by Vince Staples and featured appearances from Ariana Madix, Benson Boone, Doja Cat, Peso Pluma, Yeat, Demi Lovato, Fernando Mendoza, and Davante Adams. Doja Cat announced menu items during the broadcast. Each celebrity segment was tied to a specific menu reveal. Anderson .Paak performed at the after-party under his DJ Pee alias.
