Sarah Dietl already had one YogaSix location under her belt when she took on a second. The local entrepreneur, who operates YogaSix Minnetonka, has assumed ownership of YogaSix Nokomis at 1624 E 66th St. in the Cedar Point Commons shopping center, with the change announced March 16. The transition comes paired with a slate of new programming designed to deepen the studio's roots in the Nokomis neighborhood.

The studio has been a fixture at Cedar Point Commons since January 2020, built around six signature class formats in what the brand describes as a spa-like environment. Under Dietl's ownership, that foundation is staying, but the programming calendar is getting considerably busier.

The first entry point for anyone curious about the new direction is Free Flow Week, starting April 6. The studio is offering three complimentary classes during that window, which is about as low a barrier as you'll find for trying a new studio. That runs directly into a Grand Reopening Celebration featuring a "Meet the Owner" event, where attendees can hear Dietl's vision for the Nokomis location firsthand.

Beyond the reopening events, Dietl is rolling out several community-focused initiatives that signal where she wants to take the studio. The "Love Your Mat" drive collects gently used mats for youth programs, which is a practical way to move equipment from studios into community hands. A "Mindful March" challenge is already underway, and a six-week "Grow With Me" Earth Day challenge is in the pipeline. Dietl also plans to pilot a Pilates-inspired class format, expanding beyond the traditional YogaSix offerings.

For a franchise location, this level of neighborhood-specific programming is notable. Running two YogaSix studios gives Dietl a template to work from, but the Nokomis initiatives read more like a community center strategy than a standard studio relaunch.
