The English-language feed is slated to begin at 6:00 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET and will stream on YouTube.

Regional time conversions published by outlets and community threads place the kickoff at 2:00 PM in the UK and 3:00 PM in parts of Europe for the English feed, while a Famiboards thread lists the schedule as "6am PT - 2pm UTC - 11pm JST." Nintendo Japan's copy reproduced on Famiboards reads "3月3日（火）23時より、Nintendo Switch 2 とNintendo Switchで遊べる インディーゲームを紹介する「Indie World 2026.3.3」をライブ配信します。約25分の映像となります。" The Japanese text indicates a separate Japanese livestream starting at 23:00 JST on March 3 that will run approximately 25 minutes.

Duration and platform are the clearest parts of the announcement: multiple outlets repeat the official wording that the event will be "roughly 15 minutes" for the English feed, with NintendoEverything rendering the phrasing as "about 15 minutes of long." The event will be a YouTube livestream; NintendoEverything, IGN, Nintendo Life, and Engadget have said they will provide live coverage during and after the show and track everything revealed.

Scope is narrow by design. The presentation will concentrate on indie games "coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch," not first-party Nintendo blockbusters. Engadget bluntly framed the difference: "This is an Indie World Showcase, and not a Nintendo Direct.
